Trumpets Jazz Club and Restaurant in Montclair, New Jersey, will feature an afternoon Father’s Day Celebration beginning at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 17 with Ty Stephens and his unique blend of Soul Jazz. Tickets for this memorable event are $15 for advance sales and $18 at the door. This consummate award-winning multi-talented entertainer and performer has performed around the world, gaining an international audience with an adult-contemporary sound, based on jazz, funk and R&B. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Stephens has appeared on Broadway in the original productions of “Sophisticated Ladies” and “Marilyn, An American Fable” and has recorded with industry legends including Harry Belafonte, Peggi Lee and renowned trumpeter Chuck Mangione.
On June 29, Trumpets will feature Frankie Cirell in his fabulous One Man Show. The impressionist and singer’s incomparable show begins at 8:00 p.m. Advance tickets are $25 and $30 at the door. There is also a $12 per person minimum for food and drink. Frankie brings his New York style to Montclair and his take on what Las Vegas was like in the days of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.
