2017 Toni’s Kitchen Continues Their Outreach in Jersey

Toni’s Kitchen is a non-profit feeding and outreach program located in Montclair, New Jersey, that serves fresh, hot and wholesome meals to residents and also delivers meals to the local community at senior citizen centers. The Original Soupman, maker of delicious and popular soups, emphasized their mission to serve “Soups for All” and donated hundreds of Tetra-Paks to the organization.

Ann Mernin, Director of Outreach, said they are very grateful for the gluten-free, organic soups. In 2015, Toni’s Kitchen had served over 50,000 people, but this past year the number has doubled to over 100,000. Mernin also added their Backpack program that has grown to 200 per week, with free backpacks handed out and filled with plenty of non-perishable foods packed inside. “We are happy to be packing these soups in the backpacks as well,” she said.
