The World’s Largest Meatball Makes It to the Guinness World Record

At 1,707 ½ pounds, the world record for the largest meatball was set by the Italian American Club of Hilton Head, South Carolina. The new Guinness World Record was recently set at the Meatball Madness and the Italian Heritage Festival at Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island. The club planned and worked for over a year to accomplish this task, beating the old record of 1,110 that had stood since 2011.
