Celebrate St. Joseph’s Feast at the Mount Carmel Parish

Come and join with the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Family for the Feast of St Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church and the Holy Family. The novena began on Sunday, March 10^th and continues each night at 7:00 pm. On Tuesday, March 19^th at 7:00 pm, a Solemn High Latin Mass will be celebrated with homily preached in Italian and English. After Mass there will be an opportunity to venerate the relics of St Joseph’s tunic and walking stick. There will be a short procession to the parish center that will host a reception with food, St Joseph’s Zeppoles and Sfinge, plus entertainment with music from the Bloomfield Mandolin Orchestra. No tickets are necessary, but please call the rectory at (973) 589-2090 so the Parish can ensure that there is plenty of food for everyone who attends. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church is located at 259 Oliver Street in Newark and has ample and secure parking.
