NY, NJ Metropolitan Celebrates St. Anthony’s Feast for 3 Days

Before you finalize your weekend plans, there are numerous Feats of St. Anthony coming to the New York, New Jersey metropolitan area this weekend. In New Rochelle, NY, the feast will begin on Friday June 8th and continue through Sunday, June 10th. There will family fun, devotion, food booths, games, arts and crafts, live music and a 50/50 raffle. The Annual Feast of St. Anthony Feast will take place at the Church of Saint Gabriel and Saint Joseph, located at 280 Washington Street in New Rochelle, NY. Be sure to stop by and enjoy the festivities on Friday and Saturday from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Sunday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. On Long Island, the 77th Annual Feast of St. Anthony Di Padova has been organized under the auspices of St. Antonio di Padova Benevolent Association of Long Island. The Feast takes place from June 9th through June 13th at St. Anthony’s Chapel, located at 90 Meacham Avenue, in Elmont, Long Island. The feast will feature devotion through novenas and prayer in the chapel. Mass will be conducted at St. Catherine of Sienna at the Center, Franklin Square. On Saturday, the Annual Procession will assemble in the Square at 11:00 am. Each day of the five-day event will feature live entertainment.

Additional celebrations of St. Anthony’s Feast Day will be held on June 10th at St. Clair’s Church in the Bronx, with a procession at 1:00 pm and also at St. Anthanasius Church in Brooklyn, with a procession at 3:00 pm, with Mass to follow.

The Feast Day of St. Anthony on Wednesday, June 13th will include Solemn Masses and Processions to take place at St. Anthony’ Church in Easton, PA; St. Joseph’s Church in New Rochelle; St. Anthony Church in Manhattan; St. Vincent’s Church in Elmont, LI; Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in the Bronx; St. Anthony’s Church in New Haven, CT; St. Bridget Church in Westbury, NY; St. Francis Church in Hoboken, NJ; Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Rochelle Park, NJ and Holy Family Church in Nutley, NJ. You are encouraged to call the rectory of the Church that you intend to visit for hours of both Masses and Processions. Our Lady Mt. Virgin in Garfield, NY will celebrate St. Anthony on Saturday, June 16th, with a 7:00 pm Mass and a procession to follow.
