Astonishing Italian Festival Looks to Dominate Downtown Spring Lake

The Greater Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its Annual Italian Festival in the downtown business district on Saturday, September 30th.  Once again, Morris Avenue will be closed from Third to Fourth Avenues and turned into an Italian Piazza. There will be live music with Julian & Dominique and Mimmo & Company (on Third Ave and Jersey), Italian food provided by local restaurants with a wine and beer garden for the very popular al fresco food court.

There will be face painting and balloon twisting and for the first time at the event, a petting zoo for the children. New to the Italian Festival will be the Spring Lake School of Dance performing Italian folk dances, a performance not-to-be-missed. One of our most popular attractions is the festival Art Walk that will take place along Third Avenue. Merchant and vendor booths along with antique cars, Medieval Times and Hadley horse races for the kids will round out the festival.
