New Program in Ocean County

The Ocean County Library is excited to launch a Museum Pass Program to begin on Monday, December 2nd.  The new program will provide the opportunity to visit a variety of cultural and educational attractions in the area for free. The Museum Pass Program will permit Ocean County adult residents who have an active library card to book a pass to an array of museums in both New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Passes can be reserved online at theoceancountylibrary.org/museum-pass-program, over the phone, or in person at any Ocean County Library location. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participating museums include The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel; The Frick Collection; Imagine That!!! Insectropolis; The John F. Peto Studio Museum; Morven Museum & Garden; The Mutter Museum of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia; Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum and more. Passes are good for one visit on the date selected and each museum has its own admission rules. It will be up to the individual to check the museum’s website before visiting for unexpected closings, change in hours, updates of exhibits and other pertinent information.

The Ocean County Library is located at 101 Washington Street in Toms River, New Jersey; telephone: 732-349-6200. Please check the library’s website for more information at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/museum-pass-program.
