Singer Marie Anello will be performing in New York City’s West Village at The Duplex on February 26th for a 9:30 pm show.
Marie is a classically trained mezzo-soprano with experience in opera, musical theater, jazz, pop, voice, acting and drama. She has performed with the New York City Opera, Encompass New Opera Theatre, Verismo Opera, Southold Opera, the Martina Arroyo Role Preparation Program and the Pittsburgh Festival Opera Young Artist Program. She was also a winner of the 2nd Annual Shana Farr Cabaret Competition.
In addition to performing, Marie also works as a writer and editor, specializing in book review, publishing industry journalism and graphic novels.
