Mandara Ristorante Hosts Grand Opening Party

Mandara Ristorante, Bar & Pizzeria, open since the spring, extends an invitation to West Essex friends and residents, along with business owners, to attend its grand opening networking reception.

Hosted by owner Michael Mandara and team and held in conjunction with the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce, this is an opportunity to meet neighbors and experience the Mandara family’s classic pizza, elevated Italian fare and dynamic bar scene.

The event will be held on Wednesday, September 18, from 5.30 to7.30pm at Mandara’s, 40 Clinton Road in West Caldwell, New Jersey.

Activities will start with a ribbon cutting and proclamation by West Caldwell Mayor Joseph Tempesta. Some of the festivities will include free open networking with area residents and business owners, samples of Mandara’s delicious cuisine, refreshments and free Mandara swag bags for the first 20 guests.

Mandara Ristorante, Bar & Pizzeria is the latest venture from a family who personifies gracious hospitality and accessible, soul-satisfying fare. Headed by Michael and Mena Mandara, the family has been in the food business for more than 60 years, since Michael’s parents, Alfonso and Regina, emigrated to New York City from the iconic southern Italian seaside village of Positano. After working in a Brooklyn mozzarella factory, Alfonso opened his first pizzeria in 1960 and his sons followed them into the business, eventually opening Posa Posa in Nanuet, New York, a neighborhood favorite since 1984 and North Jersey favorite pizzeria Mandara & Ristorante in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Mandara Bar, Ristorante & Pizzeria is their 11th restaurant. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, it features a full bar and two dining areas, with off-premise catering and private dining available.
