Italian Charities of America Dinner Dance

The 83rd Annual Italian Charities of America Dinner Dance will take place on Sunday, October 20, starting with a cocktail hour at 1:00 pm, followed by dinner and dancing until 6:00 pm. The organization invites its members and friends to join in the celebration of the Italian American community in New York and honor those who have been an instrumental force in preserving Italian American culture, heritage and pride.

The honorees this year are Michael A. Santo, Esq., Christopher Columbus Award; Anne T. Romano, Ph.D., President of the Long Island Chapter of the Italian American Studies Association, Lifetime Achievement Award and Anton Evangelista, film maker, Italian American Leadership Award. Italian American community leader, internet radio host and board member of the Italian Heritage & Culture Committee of New York, William Russo, will honored with the Italian American Community Service Award. Carolyn Reres, National Historian of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America will be honored with their Renaissance Award.

The gala event will be held at Roma View, 160-05 Cross Bay Boulevard, Howard Beach, New York. Tickets are $90 per person and include the cocktail hour, open bar, dinner and dancing.
