Artist Emma Dante Shares Important Insights at MSU

Award-winning artist Emma Dante comes to the U.S. for the first time for a week-long stay at Montclair State University. She will share stories about her rich and complex trajectory as an iconoclastic woman artist hailing from Palermo, active in theater, film, opera and literature, during an evening titled “Sicily as a Theater of the World.” The event promises to be both a rare opportunity to gain insight into the life of an artist in the modern world.

It will be held on Wednesday, November 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in Lecture Hall 101, in the Feliciano School of Business. The lecture is co-presented by the Inserra Chair in Italian and the Italian American Studies and Arts & Cultural Programming. RSVP is required to attend. Go to www. [email protected].
