December 2017 IABF Holds 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner in NY

The Italian American Baseball Foundation will be hosting their 2nd Annual Fundraising dinner on December 7th at Carmine’s Sports Bar & Restaurant, in Brooklyn, New York. The 2017 guest of honor is Italian American baseball legend Bobby Valentine.

The event will be attended by a select group of current and former Major League baseball players such as Brandon Nimmo, John Franco, Jeff Nelson, Frank Catalanotto, Francisco Cervelli and many more. The evening’s Master of Ceremonies is Mets radio announcer Wayne Randazzo. Music will be provided by Italian tenor Sal Spatola.

The Italian American Baseball Foundation’s mission is to bring awareness of the game to Italian youth through clinics, camps and education. The Foundation provides scholarships and financial assistance to student-athletes who qualify academically to play baseball in the United States on the college and high school level. Its future plans include developing a youth baseball academy in Italy. A portion of their proceeds support the Hope & Heroes Foundation in memory of Lorenzo Fernandez.

Dinner tickets for this special event are $500 and can be purchased on their website at www.IABF.Foundation.
