Il Circolo Holds Annual Natale in Famiglia with 160 Guests

Il Circolo, the Italian Cultural Society of the Palm Beaches, Florida, held its annual Christmas party – Natale in Famiglia, at the Boca West Country Club. Dressed in holiday finery, over 160 members and guests attended and were welcomed by President Paul Finizio, whose birthday coincided with the holiday celebration. The event began with the singing of God Bless America, led by Frank Todaro. Everyone was delighted by the vast selections of antipasti, pastas, entrees and desserts at the buffet stations and many wishes of Buon Natale were offered, as evident by the frequent clinking of wine glasses.

Gino De Marco kept the musical spirit going while everyone dined; however, the highlight of the day was an impromptu performance by several professional artists. Sergio Salani sat in at the piano, while soprano Kristina Notchi was joined by tenors Chris Salamone, Joe Carriero and Frank Todaro, who also provided individual song renditions. Loretta Jungreis and Robert De Angelis were responsible for organizing the successful event and a wonderful time was had by all.
