Historic Smithville will host the 9th Annual Italian Festival, sponsored by the Villa Marie Council 6342 Knights of Columbus on Saturday, September 28.

Historic Smithville Italian Festival

The 9th Annual Italian Festival, sponsored by the Villa Marie Council 6342 Knights of Columbus, will take place on Saturday, September 28 (rain date – September 29). The festival takes place from 10:00am until 5:00pm at the Village Greene of Historic Smithville, New Jersey.

It will feature an Italian Market offering a spectacular variety of wares and food. The day will be filled with live Italian music, bocce ball on the Greene, folk dancing, children’s activities and more. Historic Smithville offers 60 shops, seven eateries, a carousel ride, train ride, paddleboats and an arcade, on site lodging at the Colonial Inn and over 26 free weekend events.

Live Italian music at the main entrance will be performed by Jim Craine and his Atlantic City All-Star Band, featuring the songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and Louie Prima. Enjoy Italian folk dancing, wine tasting, hand-crafted items and imported Italian specialties. There will be Italian classic cars, Super 50/50, fun for the kids with face painting, a bounce house and more. Join the Bocce Ball Tournament to be played at the Village Green next to the Gazebo.
