Figli Di Colombo Dinner

Figli Di Colombo has announced that it will be conducting its first awards dinner, themed “Honoring of Our Community.” The event will be held on May 2 at Mar Belo Restaurant, at 611 Broadway, in Long Branch, New Jersey. The association intends to host a dinner annually thereafter on the first weekend in May.

The association will honor outstanding members of the community and future leaders. Among the honorees this year are Mario Viera and his family and Eros Bottino of Christian Brothers Academy. Additionally, the organization will be celebrating and highlighting the past presidents and long standing members of the Figli Di Colombo.

Founded in 1972, the association is known for its foundation under the name of “Sons of Columbus” based in Long Branch. Its purpose is to perpetuate mutual benevolence and promote the education and welfare of members and their families. The association is open to new members. It meets on the last Thursday of the month at their headquarters located on Morris Avenue in Long Branch.
