Castaldo Performs in Staten Island Concert with Norwegian Boys’ Choir

“Northern Voices Unite!” – A Norwegian Boys’ Choir Concert will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 28, at New Dorp Moravian Church in Staten Island, New York. This concert is a fundraiser and community outreach. The church is the second oldest church in Staten Island, founded around 1763 and is located at 2205 Richmond Road. The Vingrom Church’s Boys’ Choir was started in 2003 and is located near the town of Lillehammer, Norway, home to the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Award-winning tenor Michéal Castaldo, is a special guest performer. Michéal will sing a solo repertoire, plus a duet penned by Castaldo and critically acclaimed Norwegian composer Stein Berge Svendsen entitled “Pray’r,” with tenor Andrew Kay. He will also sing Mio Cuore, which will feature a child soloist and the combined Norwegian Boys’ and New Dorp Moravian Children’s choirs. Immediately following the concert, refreshments will be served in the New Dorp Moravian Conference Center, with a meet and greet with the artists.
