10th Annual ‘Toast to Life’

The Coluccio Family, friends, sponsors and supporters gathered in Brooklyn for the 10th Annual ‘Toast to Life’ Memorial Fundraiser held in memory and honor of the late Domenico Coluccio.

Domenico died in a tragic boating accident and also suffered from Behcet’s Disease. The family began the ‘Toast to Life’ a decade ago in his memory, with donations going to two charitable organizations that were close to Domenico’s heart – the American Behcet’s Disease Association of Rochester, Minnesota and The Children’s Inn of Bethesda, Maryland.

The family owns and operates the legendary D. Coluccio & Sons Italian specialty food importer and retail store located in the heart of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Rocco and Enza Coluccio, the parents of Domenico, also have three other children, Maria, Rocco Jr. and Giovanna.

The many supporters made it a successful and beautiful day with over $17,000 raised for the two charities. The Coluccio family wishes to express its sincere thanks to each of the event’s sponsors and to all of the individuals and families who contributed to the success of this worthy cause. A special thank you was reserved for Monsignor Caserta and St. Bernadette Church, for allowing the family to annually host the fundraiser in the schoolyard. Next year’s event which will be held on June 13, 2020.
