Columbian Foundation Supports Frontline Workers

During these times of difficulty, the Columbian Foundation recently sent Italian pastries and specialties from Calandra’s Bakery in Caldwell, New Jersey to the dedicated staff members of numerous New Jersey area hospitals. These medical heroes have been working tirelessly on the front lines to help defeat the virus and care for those who are unable to care for themselves during this unprecedented pandemic.

Deliveries were made to Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, Overlook Medical Center in Summit, Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville and Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. The efforts of the Columbian Foundation were greatly appreciated by the medical centers’ staff, brightening their day while they continue to make enormous sacrifices to help those in their time of need. John G. Centanni, President of the Columbian Foundation said, “It is our humble gesture with the hopes of making their day a little brighter. We would like you to know that although we may not be there with you physically, we recognize the extraordinary sacrifices each of you make every day when you leave your home and family to go to work. Once again, on behalf of the entire membership of the Columbian Foundation, as well as the coordinator of this effort, member of the Board of Trustees Anthony Iacullo, Esq., Treasurer Anthony Iuso and members Antonio Prioletti and Dr. Richard Guarino, may God continue to bless you and your families and God speed on your mission of taking care of those who are so in need of your services right now.”
