2017 Postcards from Italy Concert Features Famous Artists

The 10th Anniversary Concert “Postcards from Italy” will take place at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall on Saturday, October 28th at 7:30 pm. The concert will highlight the masterworks by Rossini, Verdi and Respighi and will be the premiere by Maestro Salvatore Di Vittorio who will conducts Rossini’s Barber of Seville: Overture, Verdi’s La Traviata: Prelude to Act 1, and Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony.

Italian American violinist Elena Urioste performs Respighi’s first Violin Concerto, alongside premieres of Di Vittorio’s Palermo Overture and Brosse’s setting of Pictures at an Exhibition.
