Union – On Sunday, December 10, the Union Chapter of Gamblers Anonymous will hold their 44th Annual Anniversary open meeting, from 7 to 10pm at United Methodist Church, Berwyn and Overlook Streets. Started on December 9, 1973, to help those with a gambling problem, this year’s theme is “Kindness, Courage and Maintenance.” All are welcome to this free event, including refreshments, parking, literature and no membership fee. Whippany – Ushering in the holiday season in festive and grand style, the renowned Hanover Wind Symphony will present an uplifting concert of Christmas music titled “Christmas Presence” on Sunday, December 10, at 3 p.m., at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church (OLM), 90 Whippany Road. The celebrated wind band will perform traditional plus new and exciting arrangements of Christmas favorites, including “Gesù Bambino.” Matthew Paterno of Parsippany is the Hanover Wind Symphony music director and conductor. Albany – The American Italian Heritage Association and Museum will present Gesù Bambino on December 10 at 3 p.m. Please join them for a glorious Christmas Concert with soprano Rosanne G. Hargrave and pianist Michael Clement. Light the Season with music in classical, sacred and traditional traditions by various composers and in the Italian, Latin and English languages. Enjoy the décor and ambiance of the Museum and its exhibits at this time of year! What a beautiful way to experience the peace and spirit of Christmas! A dessert reception will follow the program. This is a fundraiser for our Association. Tickets are $10 each and limited. Reservations will be on a first come, first served basis. On December 14, Italian Christmas Traditions” Cultural Presentation at 7 p.m. Professor Cav. Philip J. DiNovo will present slides and attendees are invited to share their family Christmas traditions. New York City – I Giullari Di Piazza, (the Players of the Square) are celebrating their 37th season with the annual Christmas benefit show on December 15th at the Italian American Museum, 155 Mulberry Street  at 7: 30pm.
