Honoring the Memory of David M. Ferraro

David M. Ferraro, son of former New York Assemblyman Dr. Arnaldo A. Ferraro and Mrs. Jean Ferraro, a student at St. John’s University Law School, was recently honored by the school posthumously, with the presentation of a JD Degree Honoris Causa.

The Commencement Exercises of the 2019 graduating class of St. John’s University Law School were dedicated to the memory of the young man for “his contributions to the St. John’s University Law School family.”

David was tragically killed last month while on his way to the Law School Library, when an SUV struck his motorcycle. David’s legacy will be carried on at St. John’s Law School through the David Ferraro Memorial Scholarship Fund, established through the generosity of David’s family and friends.
