2018 Festa Italiana Hosts 4 Day Italian Festival in White Plains, NY

Festa Italiana in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in White Plains, NY is hosting a four-day traditional Italian festival beginning on Thursday, July 12 and concluding on Sunday July 15.

The festival will features a variety of entertainers performing Italian and American music and dance favorites on a custom-built outdoor dance floor. DJ Jack Ciaramella will be opening Festa Italiana on Thursday. Frank Pasqualini & The Wanderers will perform on Friday. Saturday will feature Don Felice and Band, with Teo Ricciardella closing the festival on Sunday. There will be a children’s entertainment program each night, along with games of chance, an air conditioned casino and delicious Italian food.  Bar D’Italia, boasts an espresso bar, imported cold Italian beverages, gelato and delicious Italian pastries.

Admission to Festa Italiana is free as is parking. It will take place rain or shine at The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 92 South Lexington Avenue, White Plains, New York. On Thursday and Friday, the festival hours are 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm; on Saturday from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm and on Sunday from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

The Procession of the Statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will take place on Sunday, July 15, with the faithful assembling at 12:30 pm, with the procession beginning promptly at 1:00 pm, where worshippers will carry the statue of “Our Lady” on their shoulders as an Italian marching band leads the way through the streets of White Plains in traditional hymns of prayer in English and Italian.
