Lavallette
Sundays evening in Lavallette are enchanting with free concerts through September 1st. Starting time is 7pm. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the music at the Lavallette Heritage Gazebo.

Mondays are fun, with Beach Treasure Hunt, through Aug. 26 at 6pm. Come out and dig for hidden coins and receive prizes. Great night for Kids, parents and friends are all welcome!

Tuesday is Movies on the Bay night, through Aug. 20. Starting at 8:30pm, enjoy a family movie outside on the bay. Bring a blanket or chair!

Thursdays are set aside for Kites & Castles, through Aug. 29, 7pm. Kites and Castles is a family fun event held at the Philadelphia Ave Beach. Create sand castles, fly kites and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

Long Beach Island
Now through August 29 at the LBI Historical Museum, every Tuesday and Friday, take a Daytime Historic District Walking Tour, 10am. Spinning tales and igniting imaginations, the walking tour through historic Beach Haven begins on the Museum porch and visits unusual houses from over a century ago, learning of their strange and fascinating backgrounds and sometimes being invited in. Walkers enjoy colorful true stories of these historic houses and are surprised at the names of some famous people who have stayed in them.

Join an Evening Ghosts Walking Tour, Tuesdays & Wednesdays through August 28, beginning at 7pm. Does Beach Haven have ghosts??? What secrets does the museum know??? Sign up for a Ghost Walking Tour with LBI Museum and find out. Reservations are required.

Seaside Heights
Free movies on the Seaside Heights Beach every Sunday at dusk through August 25. Audience members will be seated on the Carteret Avenue Beach, please bring your own beach chairs and blankets, 8:30pm – 11pm

Monday Concert Series, now through September 2, featuring the All American Variety Show, 7pm. This show is a tribute to our nation’s heroes, all who served and those who are still serving our country. This patriotic show includes choreographed dance numbers, superb costumes and an entertaining band.

Monday Bonfire on the Beach, with live music, through August 19 at dusk. Bring your beach chairs and blankets to North Beach for Seaside Heights’ family-friendly Bonfire-on-the-Beach. While the fire burns, sit back and enjoy the acoustic sounds of local performers and songwriters. Starts as the sun goes down and the fire burns.

Wednesday Fireworks, through August 28, 9:30pm. Come enjoy the fireworks, with great views from anywhere on the boardwalk!

Kids Fishing Tournaments on Mondays, thru Aug. 26, 10an to noon, sponsored by the Seaside Park PBA 182. Bring your child or grandchild every Monday to the 5th Ave Bay Pier to fish. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to participants. Must bring your own bait, nets, poles etc.

Wednesday is Kite Night, now thru Aug. 21, 6pm – 8:30pm. Love to fly a kite? Meet up with kite flyers of all levels every Wednesday in Seaside Park.

Toms River
A Farmers’ Market is held every Wednesday, though November 20, from 11am – 5pm on the lawn of The Ocean County Parking Garage on Hadley Avenue. Four local farms offer fruits and vegetables, as well as vendors selling baked goods, gourmet foods, honey, pickles and olives, guacamole, homemade dog treats and wine. Tuckerton
The Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum has one more Sunset Sail cruise on Tuesday, July 30 from 7pm – 9pm. Enjoy a summer sunset as Seaport staff members guide guests through a 2-hour long exploration of how the area’s natural environment, local history and folk life shaped “Clamtown” and its inhabitants. Reservations recommended.

Creek Tours are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and are FREE to the public. Seaport staff will guide guests through a 1-hour long exploration adventure. Each trip is also a great opportunity to see wildlife, perhaps an egret, family of otters, or blue heron! Reservations recommended.
